It’s f’ing cold out there..
I always appreciate an honest opinion.Says 35 degrees, but it’s a *s-wordty 35 blowing up yer ass degrees..
We got enough to make mud for sure...Ya! But sun popped out a bit and got mushy dang fast! Needs to freeze up! That last rain sure wrecking the feedlots.
My Dad & youngest brothers cows started calving Christmas Day, usually they have them up around the barn in the lots but they are still out in the grove & pasture since the weather was nice & then the 1.45” of rain we had, they were better off out in the pasture than slopping around in the lots.Ya! But sun popped out a bit and got mushy dang fast! Needs to freeze up! That last rain sure wrecking the feedlots.
We will keep her and the surgeon in our prayers.Morning midlanders!

A guy comes up to me at church and asks me, "Do you know anywhere I can take my saw to get it fixed besides Marvin's (the only saw shop in town)?" I told him there is none in Muskogee but there is a shop in a town about 10 miles from here. He did not want to use that one either because they had his mower for 3 months.
I ask him what is going on with the saw. He says, "I was cutting and shut it off; then it wouldn't start". I told him I would take a look at it. I go to his house and look at the saw. The chain is dull as fudge. I asked him how it was cutting...."Not very good" he says. I said "your chain is dull", which he already knew. He says "I don't know how to sharpen a chain", which I already knew.
The saw popped on the 2nd or 3rd pull and started on the next. I piss revved the hell out of it. He looked at me in wonder. I adjusted the low idle and set it down and let it idle for 2-3 minutes while we talked.
Thanks to you guys I knew the problem. I told him it vapor locked and explained to him why. With that dull chain, the saw got so hot that when he set the saw down it boiled the gas out of the carb, so when he tried to restart the saw, it would not start due to lack of fuel. He says "that makes sense".
Anyhow, I got the saw and will sharpen his chain. He will think it is ported when I get through with it, LOL.
