There is one there but l dealt with one about 5 !iles south up on the bluff. I would go through the town of Hall to get there. They are still sawing it a lot less volume.

Kansas City stock yards has been gone for almost 15-20 years. My granddad said they used to drive the cattle across the river when it was frozen when he was kid early 1900's.

Yup. It’s changed names/ownership about four times since I came here fifty years ago.

We get them from all over, including Kansas, but yeah, we have tons of feedlots out here. My grandpa, dad, two uncle's, and my self for awhile, all worked at one. My Dad did for almost 50 years. We got some good sized feedlots out here.



One of my Grandpa's raised Herefords. I may be biased, but that was some of the best beef I've ever had in my life. I know alot of people tout Angus, but I'm a Hereford fan. Where my Dad worked at a finish feedlot, and I had a Grandpa that raised cattle, we never ate store bought beef. So I'm a bit of a beef snob. Lol

We had 1.45” of rain from Friday night thru Sunday morning then 1/2”- 3/4” of snow last night. Temps are in the 20’s & the wind is supposed to blow around 25-30mph thru New Years Day. New Year’s Day they are guessing 45degrees with south/southwest winds, winds are out of the northwest now.
