It was still 102 when I headed out that day..

And the truck had no AC!!!

Hot wind all the way home.. It was awesome!!

Our greenbeans are blooming ,but don't look very good not very thick.I tilled the garden yesterday just before it rained.Got some ag.tires for the dr power wagon,should help in the mud.Having trouble with coons after our chickens,we got a smart one,well smarter than me so far.

Smart they are. Camping at Roaring River years ago, spent half the night chasing raccoons and throwing rocks to keep them out of my coolers. In retrospect it's pretty funny. No respect for the little buggers now, though.

Very clever animal and smart fighters. If they've settled in to eat your chickens, I strongly recommend a Ruger 10-22 with a night vision scope. It might take a couple of nights, but anything besides killing them will be futile.

I tell coworkers about plans for the weekend to drop trees, cut them and split them. They ask "Did you say you do that for FUN?"

They just want to grill something and eat.

Where's the challenge in that?
