Winter, bad!
Got chilled today breaking down and lighting a fire.

Part of the red oak aspect. Doctor's gotten me lot more functional so the 2 high pieces rolled into, out of van. Rest, cut to length, noodled before transport.View attachment 204284
20 mile round trips. Now to split & stack
Everybody is wanting wood! Wind really blew today!
I think it's broke in. I've had to wear ear protection for the last couple weeks. Spits noodles 10-12 feet if I'm not in the way. Lotta fun to run. Still only use it when the 72ccs are at the edge of their ease of use. How's your 661 treating ya?

Like it enough to have another, used a lot, and a 660 crankshaft, and another maxflow for 661. Want to be prepared for a stroker build by John. Don't really need it, I'm just a motor head.
I realy have to get around to re-ring 066, and look at exhaust & stuff & then I apply 25" bar w/stock Stihl square chisel and can't stop grinning while looking for more fat logs. This is the 661-cI hear that! I've got a couple 660's but really want to try a 661. There's just some times my 660's could use a little more oomph. I just keep flip flopping on whether or not I want to gamble on an Mtronic or just get a carb version. I change my mind about every other day. I don't really need one, but every time I see one, I really want one.
That stroker build sound pretty amazing as well!

The used 661c was run 18 months with 8 pin 25" square chisel. Wore out in part by the heat, the stock exhaust port , kept in I believe. Should of seen look on loggers face when I mentioned muffler mods and maxflow air cleaner.I bet either an 066 or the 661 screams with a 25" bar! I've honestly never ran my 660's with anything shorter than 36" bars. I only got them for stumping, and taking care of trunks, so I've never tried it honestly. Anything smaller I generally use my 461's or my Macs. Might have to try a 28" on one of em this week, just to see!
