Well we didn’t hog it all, I have .25 in my gauge this morning, all reports around us are .75” - 1” or better. It’s definitely better than a kick to the sack but we’re pushing 5 weeks now & that’s all we’ve had. They say it’s supposed to rain today & a chance tonight again but I’ll believe that when it happens.

Though after 7 consecutive days without rain and 95+ w/hot wind, has the corn fields well dried out.
Plus the corn is drying the ground out from the bottom up.
Amazing how much water that stuff can simply drink out of the dirt when making ears..

Gonna try to go through this Disston carb. I'll have to make up all the diaphragms and gaskets. It's said that they're near impossible to get to work right. I'm a glutton for punishment I guess. The transmission-driven fuel pump squirts a stream of fuel that could feed a small block Chevy.
