It def has a ton of lift capacity. Spec is 3850 rated operating cap and breakout of almost 9k lbs. Its gonna need tracks in my Crawley sand though. Prlly end up just buying a new set of grousers. These are 14" wide so on the larger size not as common as the 12". Nice looking resto btw! Those things are a hoss...
You’re gonna like it.
Tracks are better, but even with tires, those big Gehl’s are super capable machines. It def has a ton of lift capacity. Spec is 3850 rated operating cap and breakout of almost 9k lbs. Yes I wanted tracks but just couldnt justify the price tags for personal use. It was another 15k over this machine.Tracks are better, but even with tires, those big Gehl’s are super capable machines.
If you put the steel tracks on it, you should fill your tires with styrofoam or something similar so you don’t have to deal with flat tires. My friend put steel tracks on his 770 Bobcat, I have helped him fix 3 flat tires in the last year and those steel tracks are finger pinching/crunching SOB’s.Yes I wanted tracks but just couldnt justify the price tags for personal use. Yes but then they ride rough. We had one like that b4. They flat free tires would be the way to go. But they r expensive. Loegering makes an awesome vts system but new is like 15k but this machine with those tracks would be better than any machine ever produced. Thatd be cool.If you put the steel tracks on it, you should fill your tires with styrofoam or something similar so you don’t have to deal with flat tires.
