My 10-15 minute foraging effort for the evening
I was out mowing CRP the last 2 days & noticed some were getting ready. We have about 1/4 mile of ditch on the dirt road by the house that’s full of them & gooseberries. I also mowed around a bunch in the ditches in the CRP. 2 of my girls are supposed to show up Sat. morning & we are going to go after them for 2-3 hours.

I mowed as close as I could with the batwing to knock all the other chit down around them & as far down in the ditch as I could. It helps tremendously. I may try to make some raspberry ice cream for the Independence Day, depends on how many we get & what is going on. Dads favorite thing to do on the 4th is try to ensure that there is hay to put up.
