I'm within driving distance of these chains. If there's any interest, I'll bring them home. Kinda need for the majority of them to be claimed though before I drop $250 on them. I can only use one or two of each, so if you all can commit to the rest, I'll grab them and bring them back with me. My cost + actual shipping to you.

Whenever is fine. I know the wife will want roasts and hamburger. Myself, 1 inch thick steaks and ribs. Not sure what else there is, except baked potatoes and home made bread.
Plus, my daughter is looking for half a beef, also.

We had a holstien heifer hit by a car once and had it ground up. (& no I didn't leave the gate open Steve) Couldn't eat it. Made 500#'s of dog food.

What is your local processor charging for a beef nowadays?
It's about $450.00 at cloud's in Carthage.
That's just processing of course.

I draw the line at 250 lbs.

When I used to help it took 2 days.
Nasty work, frozen hands..... blah....
