Darn I have not seen one of those much less handled or owned. CAD is/isn't in remission if you contact them and they sound like robots, no. Except all that has been done to the sl5G is kroil has been applied to nuts & chain links, with hope to free em up for removal and maybe a look at the gears. Magnesium rot is small/not thru anywhere in two spots that are about size of a quarter or less.
Here are some more pics of that saw.

Morning everybody! Going to be another warm one today. I am ready for fall to get here!
Yes! Got out as early as the town has listed and pulled out a little log. Geometry puts the weight between #1100-1400#. Landed inconvenient on roll resistant soft surface. Sitting with free WiFi contemplating the vagaries of life

Had slight slow leak. Bubbles didnt show it. Dunked it. Flywheel seal leaks. Given this is a clamshell can i replace seals without taking it all the way down?
Now im gonna replace fuel line, carb kit (maybe carb) seal(s). One of the fins is busted on the flywheel
Btw, i measured the bore. Its an AM pc. Measures 1.9”; a ms390. Will a bigger carb help much? Muff been modded.
