Morning all! Hope everyone is having a great summer... I too am ready for the leaves to change and the cool weather to start.... Darick and I were set up at the Lamar Free Fair this week and had a great time over there. Very nice people and a really great setup for a fair. Everything was right on the square downtown and they never had any chainsaw carvers so they response was excellent...we routinely had crowds of 50 people or more watching...ran into Levi, Brandon, and even Brandon's Mom last night came by to put buy a raffle ticket on our bear that we gave a way...

always nice to see a few of the gang while we are out and about!

We got our website launched a month or so ago, www.carvingforchrist.com

Met up with a cat that does a video blog at the fair said he can do videography for our ministry and will do it for no charge! So Lord willing we will have some videos up and running on it sooner or later detailing some of our projects that we are working on with the www.petersonoutdoors.org

we went and carved at their grand opening for the vets and volunteers... great people with a phenomenal ministry....

Don't forget The pioneer harvest GTG has been moved back to its original time , the last week in October this year. I believe it's Saturday the 20th this go round......

Learned about a 298Xp the hard way. Bought a parts and repair 298 with a very clean exterior. Guy said it pulled over too hard for him which was a trait of these, and there MIGHT be other things wrong. 100% feedback score so I got it coming my way. I’ve bought lots of parts and repair saws with no surprises. Opened the box and was happy till I pulled the plug and saw chrome all flaked in cylinder, bearings gritty, and no spark!
He agreed to refund, but I agreed to pay shipping back so I got off easy.
