Kill em Kyle..
They will be back.

Just make sure they don't escape.

Dump em many miles from the house.

I keep the 12 ga. loaded with OO buckshot for night visitors and 5.56 with hollow points for day time. I've had several people come by looking for thier canines. tell them the last time I saw them was running across the pasture.;);) Hedge brush is my friend.:D[emoji1]

It’s hard for some people to learn that living outside of town means they can let their dogs run wild. They pack up, harass deer and domestic stock of all kinds, and are a dangerous nuisance.
Losing a pet is sometimes what it takes for the hard of head to comprehend the process here.

On a somewhat related note, I am sitting in the Springfield Ave Cafe, drinking a very adequate coffee, awaiting the arrival of a Greek omelet with hash browns, b&g. The Queen is out in the van, helping His Primacy develop an understanding of what constitutes appropriate behavior in a restaurant. She has far more patience than I, and we add yet another debit to my side of the ledger, for sitting in the Mother Ship eating sandwiches for breakfast while the Tribal Headman enjoys a repast fit for a despot.
The hope is that Emerson can learn to behave properly while the stakes are low enough to allow for a productive life of freedom.
Have a good Sunday!

First offense I'll stop by and tell you what your dog was doing.
Second time I won't.
That's my motto. I've got furbabies and if mine wandered and were causing trouble I'd want to know about it so I could correct it b4 they were taken care of.

I may be a bit overprotective of livestock, but I've told my neighbors if they catch my mutts mis behaving, shoot em on sight, or at least try.

They were a bit shocked, but I've seen what pets run amuck can do to actually valuable farm animals..

I like George, but if he was runnin calves, I'd shoot him myself..

But would not tell Levi. Lol

Yea I could see that but at this point all I've got is 43 chickens and about 70 ducks and 7 geese. Nothing bigger yet. My wife keeps talking about goats though. We will see.

The old lab brings dead squirrels on the porch and lays with them.
I think she's hoping she can revive them somehow..
She collects kittens too.
Wonder what makes labs do that.?

If you can get your own dogs to own the farm critters, it'll come in handy.
They supposed to keep an eye on *s-word when you ain't around..
Especially chickens.
Everything eats chickens.
