Looks like a 1-40 i gave away couple Christmas’ ago. Heavy-heavy-heavy and i didnt like the oiler location. One of the few features i think mac engineers totally blew

I couldn't believe how low I had to take the rakers on the chain for my 562. Square ground its below the soft setting on a husky gauge. Cutting white oak. Pulled fine no chatter. Nice chips. How low does everybody else take theirs?

The steeper the back angle is, the less the rakers need lowered. The steeper the back angle the sharper the edge, but
Its weaker. My work square sometimes
Get to 030 plus. Race maybe .016
To 020 I'm far from great at it.
Sometimes cl oregon chain gives you ideas where to start the rakers are high
So you have a good starting place

Intersecting line a tick above the corner?
That would allow you to run lower rakers and still not be too harsh.

No the line is at the corner or a touch below. Not as much forward lean as I had at the gtg but not leaning back either. I'll try to get some pics later this afternoon.
