Picked up a couple of Steve's favorite make and color this morning. They're patiently waiting to go with him. [emoji16]

Good morning!
We went to the first farmers' market of the year, I delivered a jar of lacto-fermented (salt-pickled) daikon radish to my friends who grew them on their hippie farm. Emerson likes playing with their six year-old boy. Got two cups of what turned out to be some really excellent coffee. Something called "Ethiopian Sidamo." Whatever that means. It was tasty enough to be illegal is seventeen states. Today I went well above my recommended ration of coffee. Well above, far enough so that I could audition for this role...

Got my first hauling gig tomorrow. Friend of mine wants to go to Blue Springs to pickup a stack of 16' pole barn panels, so we're going to hang out a bit. Good times. Many years ago he gave me his daughter's Bible, which I eventually used to read the most important prayer of my life. Eternally thankful I am.

Good day to cut..

Feels like December.
I got out with a saw and helped a friend of mine, the one who hosted the pinwheel cookies gtg some years back. She had a silver maple split off a huge limb, and it fell on a fence, a pickup bed trailer, and a cattle panel section. What a mess. But I got to help get it less so, and it will take another session or two to straighten it all out. Many many messed up trees over on her place. Glad it's not me trying to make a go of a ten acre hippie farm all by myself. Yeesh.

I've been welding aluminum all day but did take a break and sharpened a chain for my 562 got the rakers lowered enough for it to be hungry with a 7pin now. Always learning a little at a time.

Had a good time today with Awol and clan. I don't see anything but success for him with the Echo line up. Rebekah got my sewing machine tuned up and straightened out. (Bless her for that). As soon as we stepped into the store we got mobbed by children. It was good times.

Plenty of pizza left. :)
Also, we left your pie stack transport thing that was left at Matt's with Rebekah. One step closer to home .

I couldn't believe how low I had to take the rakers on the chain for my 562. Square ground its below the soft setting on a husky gauge. Cutting white oak. Pulled fine no chatter. Nice chips. How low does everybody else take theirs?
