Afternoon everybody .
Made it home by 11am or so .
Prayed for no rain during the GTG and they were answered. As soon as we got home it really let loose. Got rain and ice at the same time.

Looks like we got lucky on the weather yesterday. 30 degrees and rain/drizzle here. Would have been miserable if it came yesterday.

All the way down yesterday Barbara (little miss pessimist) kept saying we were going to get wet.

Jim and I replied no we are having a GTG.

Power of positive thinking.[emoji108]

Dad and I definitely had a blast. Working with Doug's splitter was truly fascinating and you can tell that he's put a lot of thought into the physical mechanics of the process. I'd definitely give at least $3K for it!!!! (for a rental fee). I don't want to know how much $$$ has gone into that thing, or how many hours. I still feel bead for breaking the belt on Steve's Homelite, but it was a darn neat saw to run.

Unfortunately I had to get back home to bury my daughter's 4-H heifer calf. Been sick since we brought her home about a month ago. Long story but I found out more about the seller and She and I WILL be having some words. Live and learn.

It was wonderful seeing everyone again and thank you again to Matt and Lisa for being truly wonderful hosts!
