Maybe we can make it down there for a short vacation in the next month or so. I want to move to NW Arkansas, it's just wonderful country, nad we need to get back down there, as it's been five years. The long skinny white ones would be great to mount on the side rails, behind the ones I'm getting. They wouldn't need to lock. I went to TSC again yesterday, and I actually like their cheap black steel ones. I need exactly 7 feet of length on the front, so the 3 and 4 foot ones would be just right for that, but long and narrow would be useful for a lot of things.Too bad you aren't any closer to me (NW Arkansas). I just scored 7 used under-body or flatbed mount toolboxes like you were considering.
2 - 13" x 16" x 96" - two compartment, locking, steel, white
2- 13" x 16" x 96" - two compartment, locking, steel, black
1 - 22" x 24" x 92" - two compartment, locking, steel, black
2 - 16" x 18" x 24" - single compartment, locking, steel, black
The white ones are a little rough and will need some TLC but are serviceable. All of the black ones are in good condition and could use some paint, but no big dents or other damage. They will all need some new sealing material but that's cheap and easy. No keys of course, but all the doors work and most of them have the drip edge along the top to keep some of the rain out.
Like this (but not as pretty)

I was digging through some scrap material that was going to the recyclers when I spotted them. I really just wanted one set to use on the trailer I built last year. I was able to make a package deal on the lot and now I've got to figure out what I'm going to do with all of 'em.
One man's junk = another man's score!

I have a nice 034 Super, and a few old 036s that need a Cobey treatment, or a teacherman treatment if I'd take the time to learn the oiling system. That and the 044 are probably my favorite saws to use. I'm serious about coming down there. Nancy and I met in my rock climbing group I hosted for our old church, and we went to Jasper to climb a few days, and six months later we were married. Now it's time to get the Primate up on some rock, and May seems like a good month to do that.I looked inside them a little more closely this morning. Some have a section of heavy wall plate steel added to the inside wall where the box was mounted to a bracket on the underside of the truck body. I didn't look to see if they all had it, but someone took some time to make sure they could hold a fair amount of weight and not break free easily. Looks like they used some 5/8" or larger bolts to fasten it to a piece of angle iron under the truck.
More importantly, I believe an 036 will fit nicely inside one.

Or, do you plan to come to Carthage next weekend?
I hope to. Lot going on, but it would be great if I could go. Is there a fair or something going on too? I can't remember, and it's probably about fifty pages back on the thread. Are you going to make Carthage. Sherry and I are going down Friday.
Already tried BFH and BBFH. Now going for BBBFH.
Is that a split rim? I hear those are tough to do. Unpredictable, too.Any tricks to getting dual tires seperated and off the hub?

Thanks guys. Hammer #4 for the win. Plus soaking with Aero Kroil during lunch. 12 lb hammer against the rim. Now to tire shop to see how bent the rim is.
