That looks a lot like mine. Is it from late 90s?

Oh, never mind. It looks to have an aluminum deck. Is that from an earlier time?
I repainted it for him. I put our food grade antiwear lining on it to protect the aluminum b4 I painted it.

Anything to see in Booneville, Mo?

Visiting our convict son at the prison there today.

Not looking forward to the drive down I70.

Jim would know more on Lawnboy than me but later in the companies life they had 2 "grades" of mowers . Silver series and Gold series . Silver was the base and had a steel deck and standard wheels. Gold had an aluminum deck and premium wheels. (I have yet to figure the actual difference in the wheels, though.)
Over the years they had several different engines. The ones I know a little about are alphabetical. A thru F and another that was Z, I think. And they had the model M .
The E is the Duraforce engine. Kyle has one. Jim's is the F series engine.
In my opinion the Model M was their last ditch effort to clean up the 2 stroke for the EPA. It was oil injected at 64:1 oil ratio. No mixing gas needed. And it was a completely different engine. Earlier engines are all reed valve. The M is piston ported .
