Here is something I've been meaning to post for a while now. I need to find three old metal 30 gallon drums to use for shovel, rake, and pipe storage. I used to get stuff like that at the sale barn we had nearby, but that was decades ago. Does anyone have an idea where I can find a couple of these?

So how much was cut up yesterday ?
Were you all able to get to the back pile and load any of what was cut.?
Or just finish off the front pile?

awol say's " Front pile is finished off. Won't get to the back pile until it freezes or dries up. :) " about 13 cord cut and hauled but not all split, and around 6 cord still laying over there to move. :)

Finished the front pile, ended up being 3 more loads and another load left on the ground. Started to run out of daylight.

Thank you so much to everyone who had a hand in the surprise wood cutting party today. We are so blessed to have such good friends and family. We were so shocked and overwhelmed by the kindness you all have shown to us.View attachment 102906

Many thanks to all of the great people who surprised us with a woodcutting party this morning; I had a great time and greatly value the time spent with each and every one!!

Cool! Someone needs to let me know about this stuff. I'm close & probably could have helped. :)

Don, I was just in talking to Kyle this morning about hoping we hadn't missed inviting anybody, and your name came up. I'm sorry about that!
Merry Christmas!

No worries Jason. I missed the last one there because I wasn't checking PMs' here. I cut 3 cords of wood last week, so I was primed. :) Need to get over & visit with the Awol's anyway.
Merry Christmas!

Thanks, Wayne. Those are too big. My wooden garden tool organizer has rotted into oblivion, and the 30 gal size would be right for holding them so I can get the right one out of the barrel when I need to use it.

They're on Craigslist pretty much constantly around here. I think the fella sells them for $15/ea.
