Revisited my local Fastenall this morning.

I had been in there three years ago looking for #12-24 screws. I was treated rudely by a clerk and told minimum quantities were 100.[emoji35]

This morning looking for twelve 1/4"-20 x 5/8" hex socket button head screws. Bought a package of ten for $3.26. [emoji108]

I'll be going in there more often.[emoji6]

I like Fastenal.
I also use McMaster-Carr quite a bit for fasteners. Ground shipping from McMaster usually gets here next day, so that is a big plus.

Here is a level of primitive overbuilding I relate to.

I needed a way to get a 500 lb wood burner down to the basement for installation under the trunk line for the furnace. It has a lift ring on top, integral with the stove.

Ten 3/8" x 3 1-2" lags on each side, the impact made blasting those in a breeze. New 2 ton Jet hoist.

Picked up a 48 farmall h Monday and yesterday a long time customer and friend of mine told me he had a 52 d2 cat he bought new and used on his orchard for many years. Wants me to have it. So gonna go look at it next week. Hasn't moved in about 10 years. It'll go good with my massy I just finished up!

We have had to all but quit using them bc of their billing paper work. They would be charging us for items that we never ordered or received and couldn't send us a copy of a signed purchase order where we received item.
