This followed me home today. Looks to be very well taken care of. Former owner says that it starts and runs fine . . . for awhile, then stops. Won't re-start unless it is completely cooled down. Sound familiar to anyone? Coil? Condenser? . . . . .

Homelite Super Mini S Automatic. Model number is UT 10546. Made in Canada. This one has a chain brake and vibration mounts. Some posts in other forums suggest that this is similar to the Super EZ Auto?

Thanks!

Yes it's basically a SEZ with anti vibe. It probably has the notorious blue prestolite coil?

Thanks. I have not opened it up yet - not sure when I will get a chance. Wanted to find out if this is a common problem, if parts are available. etc., before I got too invested in it.

Those blue coils are available, but they've been trouble prone since new. Pioneer used them too.

It could be converted to points

How can I tell what model a Homelite saw is if the tag is missing? They appear to be Super Wiz 77's or 80's to me. They have the strap going across the top that I have not seen on the 55 and 66 pictures I have found. Any info is appreciated. Thanks!

Thought I'd wander over here since I've got a couple Homelites. [emoji12]

It was the 5-30 that you fixed me up with Carl. No belt yet. Might put one of the 26 LCS belts on it for now and not get too frisky with it.
Yeah, I needed Cobey to help me pack it around.

Is the belt a standard pitch, length and width commercial timing type?

That's the challenge. .540 pitch. 14mm comes very close but can't get a tooth count that low. I'm waiting for an engineer from Carlisle Belt to come by the dealership to see what he can come up with.
