#1 is a customer's saw cleaned up, repaired, and ready to go.

I found a couple of saws in the attic and robbed a few parts for #1 but had enough to make #2 a runner with the usual fuel line & filter, oil lines, impulse line, new boot, sharpen the chain, and it is ready for sale.

#3 behind it is missing a few bits but will work in the display for now.

There are still two in the attic missing some parts so I think I'm done with 360's for a little while.

I was working on several saws this week (several XL / Super type and three 360's) and all went through the parts washer tank as some point.

Today I found this...any idea what it is and/or where it came from? That is 1/4" grid for reference.

Well, you learn something every day...I would never have imagined that. I did in fact go through a 3514 McCulloch just before I found that and knew I heard something rattling around in the fuel tank, I thought is was just the filter.

I will put it on display with the automatic tensioning bar and Kolve chain as great ideas that never quite caught on.

You have to wonder if hawk055 dies a little (with laughter) when he sells one of those for $15 shipped...

I would love to have a 922 and a 910! Don't see those down here in Iowa.

You may have to sneak into Canada to get those. Most of the 925's were made at the Terry plant in Quebec but they are as scarce as an honest politician here.

Did a little horse trading yesterday with a fellow collector. He was purging Homelites and I was purging non-Homelites. The C-5G is a runner. I've yet to check out the rest.

Very nice score Steve! I've only seen the C series gear drive saws in pictures, now I actually know someone that has one. What model is the big red and green saw in the last picture? Ron

Thanks, Ron!
I've never seen a factory assembled and badged C-series gear drive in real life either.
The red and green saw is a 900D from what I can tell. It's next up to make into a runner.
There's enough 20MCS parts to make one runner.
The 7-29 came with a NOS piston and box of NOS rings but it has an "iffy" cylinder.

Had 135-140 psi

Will have to see why it won’t idle and if it will actually pull chain in wood. Some 266 coils I cooked back to life would run the saw but not pull chain.

Stiff diaphragms mebbe? I found one of those at a barn sale with a Homelite 360, both those things were pretty good runners once I put some fresh gas in the tank. I kinda wish I'd kept the XL long enough to test run it more.

I had a 360 at one point I think. I think the sparky parts went to @Benwa and I forget where the rest went. @Maintenance Chief?

I will probably give this back to the buddy who gave it to me. He doesn’t have much use for a saw but he bout a little homeowner Stihl turd for his yard. Probably better off with this…

my 925 I want to get running, low compression.
