Is that maybe supposed to be 125 on the current transfer opening #?

I picked up a Warhawk 272 P&C on a recent HL deal just to fill in the order a bit.
Looks pretty good overall, will be grinding on it but it's clean enough that I'd run it as is.

Wow, runs really good on such short blowdown.

I know some of the dual trans saws like the 046 do well at 14-16 but I've never seen one at 10.
I should have know it wasn't a typo, you certainly like to buck convention and push the envelope.

Was that an experiment or something you've been successful with before?

I wrote all those other numbers down and I was going on memory with the last set. I believe I ended up with 15° BD. I need to set the degree wheel back up and check.

At least you write down numbers.
One reason I don't do build threads is that I'm really bad with documenting things.
I never seem to remember that I'm not going to remember any of it for long, lol.

I just degreed it through the spark plug hole and read it as 103-118-80. My starting point was to put it at 15° with the exhaust at 105. When I originally degreed it the ports weren't chamfered yet and I had a better view through the exhaust, so it may still be 105-120.

Check with the fellow at HLSupply. He could tell you if they’re still available. Maybe even sell you one. 🤷‍♂️
