Lots of YouTube videos if you Google ‘Franzen Chainsaw Grinder’, or something similar.

Here is one from ‘Taryl’, with a sales rep that also describes some of the features:

Thanks for posting that. Watching the machine was interesting, although I'm not impressed by the prolonged grinding time on each tooth. Makes the sparks fly and is a good eye-catcher for a demo, maybe, but wouldn't want it done that way on my chains. I only watched bits and pieces as it was operating, though, so maybe I missed some important information, like if air is applied somehow to cool the teeth? I just couldn't stomach the "host" of the video so I passed on watching the whole thing.

Yes, we installed a water mister/air kit that prevents tooth burn. Burning the tooth was definitely an issue before doing that if you tried to take too much off at a time. It supplies air all the time and water on demand.

‘Taryl Fixes All’ is actually a very good series of chainsaw maintenance, and OPE topics on YouTube.

I guess he might be an acquired taste, but he really knows his stuff, and tries to present it in an amusing way.

I’d live to see him and Red Green paired in a video.

Thank you for confirming that! Very interesting machine, even if way beyond my needs, but like many here I just like to see how things work and what ideas folks come up with.

Yes, I guess he must be. Thanks for the feedback.
