I think they should have stretched the frame out the back a few feet. Those triples were nuts.
I test rode a H2 and thankfully, common sense kicked in and I didn't buy it. Scariest thing on 2 wheels.

@Bigmac
That’s would be fun! Pricey!
have been preparing for race this weekend, I’m rusty, and fat! Knee is finally good, and am finally 2weeks clear from an ordeal with shingles, it’s been almost 2 years since I’ve ran her! The weather has been good so I got our the silver square IMG_4305.jpegIMG_4303.jpegIMG_4297.jpeg

On Monday I sold my black Dodge and was incredibly glad that I had gotten rid of another vehicle. Tonight I just bought a 1969 F250 body on a 1978 or 79 F250 4x4 frame with matching running gear. Reman 351M or 400, probably C6 tranny, power steering, power brakes, and the Dana 44HP front axle. Body's rough enough it will probably get a new one, but for now it'll stay as it is. Guy drove it to where it's parked not too long ago, so it should be a runner. Saturday morning me and my brother are heading over with a trailer to grab it and bring it home.

It's back, we used a gas can as a gas tank and had to stick the positive wire off the fuel pump into the positive battery cable and it fired right up! Ran smooth, drove on the trailer, stops and steers on a dime, and can drift quite well. I'm trying to convince my younger brother into putting the green truck body on it.

Lol, a rough body from California is WAY different than a rough body from Iowa!!! I wish we had clean trucks like that here! Hell of a nice collection you have there!

Should have a nice rumble.

It's known as the Sloppy Mechanics stage 1 cam.
Can get away with a stock converter, but I'll probably go to a slight stall.
Keeps the power relatively low too, the stage 1.5 and 2 move it up to where I'd be turning it 7 grand. I'm not dragging it so no need for that.

Looks great Ed. Those 5.3 can make some great power. What engine management system are you planning to use?

The Holley unit. Plug in my engine specs and let it's do its thing. I know a couple who are using it on engines similar to what I'm doing and another on a twin turbo 6.0.
They all say its great. Not cheap, but if you fa tor dyno and tuning and finding the right guy to do it...
The nickle copper lines are much easier to work with than the old steel lines.

Got that right..
Just finished the rear axle lines on mine.
Need to clean up and paint the hose bracket before final install.

I just put the Holley terminator x system on my car. I’m still playing with the tune but it’s literally a night to day difference from what it was like before. Pretty easy to install and super easy for first start up. If you know how fuel injection works (which I’m sure you do) you won’t have any problems with getting it working.
