The nickle copper lines are much easier to work with than the old steel lines.
Already have a 25 foot roll of stainless brake tubing, why make it easier when you can double the difficulty..??

If I feel like it’s a fight, I’ll probably just get a roll of this copper-nickel stuff

NiCopp is easy to work with and rated for brakes.

Great video from years ago. Make sure to get the right type of flare tool.

Newer videos are out there, but this is the one I based my decision on many moons ago.

Also, eBay is hit or miss for this line. I would not buy on eBay, but from Summit or Jegs.

Primed plus a coat of black.
Going to go over it at least once more with the black.

I've never had an issue doing any lines with my Blue Point kit I've have for probably close to 30 years except double flares on stainless is sometimes problematic.
We have a hydraulic one at work that makes that stuff flare easy. Can do the ISO flares with it as well.

I've got a nice hydraulic flair kit too. Those things will change your life!

I'm glad my wife told me to go with the cast iron color for the bolt on stuff. I think it contrasts nicely without being gaudy.

She is right! The cast color looks great against the black.

You're making me look bad Ed. I've still got a fully machined 300 Ford sitting behind my couch I haven't made time to put back together!

Remember, my dad and I bought this car in 2000... sooo, you've got time..

G-Evening slackers. Spent some time with good folks this afternoon. One had lost a good portion of their pepper plants while they were out of town. I had a few more than needed (what I germinated did well this year), so they acquired 12 or so of 6 or 7 varieties.

Great chatting with good folks again this weekend.

Looks like with all the grilling going on there were likely some satisficed bellies.
