Thanks. There's some weird memories locked in my brain. Just a picture of a duece, so much forgotten, comes flooding back.I like the cut of your jib sir. Can't ever let anyone disrespect you, or your family.
I wish I could mentor younger soldiers to take military discipline seriously. Becuase when it's not taken seriously, the outcome could maime or kill a soldier quicker than the enemy.
Fighting within the ranks is so stupid.
3 one year tours in the Iraq war, lots to reflect on. It happens all the time. Whether I want to or not. I'm haunted to the very core of my spirit by that war.
The complexity and risk of cutting timber brings me peace. It gives my mind something healthy to focus on, and the labor helps me sleep. Going from war to cutting, it's a good transition.
