in general they are lighter, and faster and more aggressive than the later members of the 1128 series, same for the larger 046 D jug sawsSince i'm not really into the daily use saws like the mid size
Huskys and Stihls i gotta ask. What the christ is the big deal
with a Stihl 044 10mm. Why doe's it seem to be a very sought
after saw.

if they are going to be ported any of them can be made great but in stock form the early versions are special.
the bare jugs in nice shape bring righteous money even without the saw
