Use the rubber. The other one is mylar and tends to be stiffer.
Got the kit. Theres two gaskets the same other then one is a plastic material and other os like a softer rubbery type. Which one is better to use.

I would have sent my gas with it but i just finished doin a bunch of cutting for myself and was almost out. I had enough gas to fill the tank on saw which should have been enough to top his tree till he desided to take the whole tree down.If....and when....I ever loan a saw.....MY fuel goes with it!!! Only way around this not happening. If they have to borrow a saw their going to buy the cheapest gas they can find to run it....if they even buy fresh.....may just use their leftover from three years ago when their saw and weed eater quit.
