No surgery on the nicked tendon?

No. They recommended keeping the two fingers immobilized till the next appointment. They checked to be sure he could move them both ways, to rule out a severed tendon. He is able to move them well, so they figure just give it some time to heal. At his age, they think it won't be a problem. We'll know more once the stitches are out, and he starts pt.

I took my dads extremely sharp case xx knife
When i was 7 and immediately opened up my hand from my wrist to my thumbnail
Dad stuffed spider web into it to stop the bleeding
Everytime i look at my scar i think of my dad
I bet he'll always think of you when he looks at his hand.
