Why yes it is. We don't have many soft woods so I couldn't be picky. I wanted poplar.

As fast as it cuts I will spend 30 seconds starting and cutting cants and then 10 minutes getting it switched to another saw to test
By the time I can run me in wood again I should have a pair of 064 and 066 special saws to run it on

Mike have you ever thought about moving to Wisconsin? You could be my neighbor so I could watch. We have 160 acres so there is plenty of wood and room to build. Lol!
