So I checked it again and I came up with roughly the same measurements.
I took some small stainless wire (.032) stuck it in the ports and this is what I got.

114
139
71

Checked three times and on average I get .011" per degree of rotation. Wire measures .032"
The suspicion came from 144 on the transfers. You actually meant 134, which is about right

View attachment 229508 piston is up against an .032 wire hanging in the transfer right now.
Yep. 139. I figured 4-5* for the solder. So 134 or 135 would be the transfer opening, not 144 like mentioned earlier

Given what you’ve done to the base, 110 - 134/5 - 74 would’ve been about right.
Earlier, you said 144 on the transfers

Foredom handpieces are very reasonably priced and are of good quality.

Yeah I was on ccspecialty last night. 1k for a foredom with two hand pieces. I'll need the 90° tool if i want to do my other saws.
Can get a foredom kit with straight handpiece for under $200. Would let you finish this saw and then get a 182amc later...cushion the blow a little if it’s needed.

Harbor freight flex shaft kit will get you by better than a Dremel for $50 or less normally. The hand piece isn’t great but normally works. Foredom hand pieces go right on it when you can afford them

Got the del cheapo going again! It's a little weak for some odd reason but I think it'll see it to the end of the job.
Question, should I open the exhaust outlet up to match the muffler inlet or just let it be ? I marked it with a pencil as you can see in the pic . 20200313_201303.jpg 20200313_201244.jpg
