We got a sh*t load today! My two coworkers and myself are clear cutting 3 acres of oak. They have equipment so it's very easy. When I left we were on load number 10 in the dump truck. I even took 2 loads with my little trailer. I just cut, one brother drops the trees and drags them out to get cut. The other loads the dump truck and cleans up the brush. I used my scarr 4350, both my scarr 550xpg's and my XS 400c.

Pretty much a repeat of yesterday. The dump truck load count is # 18. I got two more trailer loads for my cabin. All of us were sore and tried, so we quit early today. I ran my scarr 543xp, my newest scarr 550xpg, my Tree Monkey 400c, and my XS 400c. I drive past here on the way home from work, so I'll probably get a couple of loads after work this week.

That’s gonna suck to stack.
I pitched two of them into the boiler to get turnt into hot water and I brought the other into the shop to use as floor sweeping dust control stuff. Install works well to sprinkle sawdust around the floor before sweeping. It somehow keeps the dust down when sweeping all the dirt and fine dirt dust that gathers on the shop floor.

@justoldsaws nice big ole stick. Dealing with them is no joke. Lot of work, lot of wood yield.

Yeah the big stuff is intimidating, lots can go wrong.
Plan is to trim the remaining branches off and then saw the main trunk in half with my 3120, it only has a 42" so will have to cut from both sides.

I have seen Aussies work them down into chunks with like a 395 and a 24”. Lots of hard work methinks. Haven’t tried it yet.

I found this blown down Shagbark Hickory a few weeks ago; now it's finally starting to warm up enough to go get it. Note the hill it resides on . :(

And here I was, driving up in my RTV, walking around and takings pics for five minutes; turns out there was a deer standing not 30 feet away to whole time. See the white spot (tail) center of pic, just to the left of the 6' stump:
