That’s perfect wood cutting conditions in my books, no snow and the grounds frozen so you’re not making a mess of things.

Is that a beetle made those markings on the outside of the wood David ? Looks very similar to the EAB beetle markings,

Grabbed a load of white oak, ash, and silver maple from Bunny's place yesterday. Not sure if it will stay here at the house or take a ride to a FHC member who is short on dry wood. Waiting to hear back from them.

I reckon. I think they got in while the trees were down/still green. They were healthy standing.

Added some sprinkles, aka hedge from @JimBear , to the load. Hopefully will deliver it this weekend. Thinking it is close to 2/3 of a cord.

My stack from the past few weeks...a little over 3 cord of ash ,oak and maple .
This wont be burnt for two years so plenty of dry time .
