I have several and literally use them all! They are all listed in my signature. My go to's are my 461's. One is wearing a 28 inch Stihl bar and Stihl semi-chisel (RM I think), full house chain, and the other runs an 32" Oregon reduced weight bar, with Oregon JGX chain. Both have muffler mods and that's it.

I keep the 660 for going after stumps, and trunks. It wears a 36" Stihl bar and Stihl RS full house chain. It also has a muffler mod and will soon have a Max-Flow on it.

All my Macs run, and I use them occasionally. More-so the 10-10's and 555 than the 610's. The 610's were my first saws, so they stay around for nostalgic reasons. I usually break out the Macs when there's a bit of bucking to do on smaller logs, 12" or so, and under.

I'll get some pictures this week and post them in my introduction thread I plan on doing.
Welcome to the nut house!

Nice firewood stacks You have there. :)

I am certain that You meant Full Complement or Standard chain/tooth sequence, as in half as many teeth as there are drive links.
Full House is as many teeth as drive links which is not a common chain in everyday usage.
The Full House expression can be confusing since most chainsaw users will never see, lest use one in their lifetime.

I am not smart mouthing You, but rather supplying information. ;)

Have fun and stay safe. :beer-toast1:

Thanks Wilhelm! Yes, you are correct! I did mean full comp! I guess I've always used the 2 interchangeably, if that's a word. Thanks for clarifying that there is a difference!

No offense taken friend. I'm not one to get excited or take offense easily. If I ever throw something out that isn't quite right, PLEASE correct me! I'm all for learning as much as possible, and I've already learned quite a bit from the forum, hence the reason I made an account and started posting.

I think I remember Wilhelm saying it borecut nicely. Smooth.

I see you mentioned Wilhelm has a Youtube channel, so I go and search Youtube for "full house chainsaw chain" and went down the list until I saw a Dolmar saw (since I'm looking at getting a Makita) and I'm guessing it's the same fella. WDE Dolmar? I'm actually subscribed to that channel already, if that's the same one, ever since I started looking at Dolmar/Makita saws a couple months ago.

It really does seem to cut pretty decent it looks like to me! Pretty crazy, I figured as close as the teeth are, it would cut fairly slow, but it sure didn't look like it. Pretty interesting.

I was going to be all formal and make a thread introducing myself (I still will) but I just spent however many hours reading through this whole thread, so I figured I'd go ahead and throw up a few pictures of part of my firewood piles.

I had to chuckle reading through this thread, because people around here say I have alot of wood, but after seeing some of the stacks on here, I'm an amateur! Lol! Well let's see if I can get some pictures to show up!

I think that worked! I'm not real good at knowing my species of trees, but I've got a general idea of what I got.

The first 2 rows have mostly Locust, some Hackberry maybe, and possibly a touch of Cedar as well. There could even maybe be a little bit of Elm as well. The third one is the same mix on the right end, and the other end is Cottonwood. Fourth pile is Cottonwood, Cedar and I'm pretty sure the long lengths on top are Locust.

Each row is approximately 5 cord, except the last one obviously.

I also have about 5 cord more of Cottonwood in a wood shed, and 1.5 cord of Elm and Locust in another shed.
Welcome to the forum KS.
Nice looking stacks. How much do you burn in a yr.

Thanks for the welcome friend! It varies quite a bit, but 5 cord a year, give or take. It's really all over and I kinda gave up trying to keep track. Our temperatures are all over the place in the winters. Some winters are bad, some we have alot of 50 degree days. We may have 3 weeks of near zero temps and 30 mph winds, then it may be 50 for a couple weeks. So I just do my best to always stay as far ahead as I can, so I'm ready for a bad one if we get one.

I also heat my garage with wood and work from home, so that adds to the usage a bit.

WHO uses that? And, does it cut worth a dime?
I am using it! :D
It does OK in turkey oak, it would most likely do better in a tiny soft wood race kant. :p
The chain has some chip clearing issues, bore cuts extremely smooth and fast though.

Yeah, that's definitely not what I use! That's the first I've even seen chain like that, and if I have seen it, I sure don't remember it. What would that type of chain even be used for? Thanks for the pictures!
I use the chain for play and as a conversation starter.
In general Full House sequence is being used for carving and cutting bamboo.
