Got this load delivered yesterday. Not super easy to find around here, so I'm very happy. 9 basswood and 3 oak. If this didn't show up I would have probably had to dip into sales wood during syrup season.

It’s been awhile fellas! I been busy as all heck. Heres the big dog cedar snag from this spring. Biggest tree yet for me. 42” bar on the new 461! A blast with a good buddy.

I was a little worried as well as the oiler was already turned up from the dealer. But I just made sure to keep the rpm up and not dog in and lug it hard. Keep that oiler workin. I will say I was impressed.

We finally got activated for help last week and a bunch of them showed up Saturday and Sunday. I know last night it was still 0% contained. I don’t know if they will stop it if it makes it to the beetle kill in the gearhart wilderness.

Plastic pallets, my favorite. Haven’t been able to find more for the past year.

We picked them up. Over exertion of the back, haha. Sometimes if they soak up water you gotta do the step system! Getting those big toads in the bed of a lifted pickup is kinda a pain.

Just been putting some ash away for the firewood guy I supply
He’s got behind and had a big stack of ash that’s been sitting there for 3-4 years
So I told him I would come over when it cooled down and put it in the barn
