Hauled three utv loads out of the woods today. Got two loads for the wood shed, and one load of standing dead ready to burn for the porch. Ran three tanks through my new 562 and I am really impressed. It's a hair bar oil stingy, might try some thinner oil. Other than that these things RIP.

What size bar? My 562 has a 24" and did seem a little light. Adjusted the oiler as I think it was in the middle setting. Need to see how it does next time I go out. Thinking I went clockwise with it.

I'm running a husky 20" bar with the oiler on the highest setting. It's just stingy compared to my 056 that slobbers it.

Roughly 3/4 tank of oil per tank of fuel. Scored some hickory finally.

Started on the oak today. Jonsered 2253 and 440 Stihl. The 28" bar as a tad short but did the job. The saw is simply lighter than the 084. Going to wait until I get the tractor here to get the bigs moved.

I'm really liking the husqvarna x-cut chain. I've ran it in softwood and hardwood, I've put 6 tanks on it and it is still throwing good chips.

Found an ad on FB Market Place for a 12 ft Black Cherry log.
I don't have milling capabilities or aspirations, so it will be relegated to smoking/grilling/firewood duties.
Man this wood smells good!!

Took the Stump Shot Special MS 660 just in case, yet the MS 261cm again earned its keep. Made swift work of this stick, which was larger than the ad pics...as usual!

BTW...here's my experience with log pics online:
Small log in pics = Large log in person.
Medium log in pics = Massive log upon arrival!
Large log in pic = Sequoia girth log winking atcha!
