I really want an Eastonmade box wedge splitter, but, had to settle for a cheap 37 ton for now. I added custom tables from custom scrap metal :-D I had in my garage from a trailer build and I am probably putting a boat winch on to haul up heavy pieces on a ramp.
The table on the operator side is closer to the splitter, then I found out my lack of materials (why it was narrower) was better because you do not have to lean in to put stuff onto the splitter or to move split stuff.
I added a flip up wheel at the end from scrap steel and a spare poly wheel I had laying around. So, if I lift something too heavy onto it and it is not attached to the truck, then it does not end up flipping to the ground. Plus, it can help when moving it by hand. I added a boat jack and wheel to the front too since the OEM flat foot one is welded to the frame.
I paid $1500 17 gpm, 8 gallon tank, B&S 10 HP. Some design feature flaws and this is the 1st log splitter I had that I had to be so careful making sure it was level so the fluid would not foam and puke. I added dextron to the AW32 so I could determine the fill level. Overall I am happy with it and the company shipped a replacement hose ASAP. For what it is, I think this is the best 37 ton on the market for the price. Probably why it sold out.
I have owned the Northern 37 ton and I think I paid $2200 or $2500 for that about six years ago, but, I sold it. The 4 way was basically useless on it when doing large sweetgum and red oak rounds.

Included pictures of my off road tractor I use to pull my trailers and log splitter around ;-D
First time in my life I added a winch to the front of my truck, I blew a hub in the mud while pulling my trailer. I had them before in the bed of my trucks, but, I was defeated by Georgia clay mud and AT tires. Really need mud tires and lockers.
