She's already running an 8-pinPut a bigger sprocket on it with a short bar and u have a sick machine. 357 better pack a lunch
They feel more violent to me than a 395 but the 395 is smooth and that's deceptive
YesHaven't run a Tree-90-Fo yet eh??
Two Mikes makes a right!I prefer a 395.
10 pin with a 28" worked great on mine till the chain came flying off hahaI guess. The one @magnumitus owns is awesokme with a 9 pin. Bet it will pull a 10 pin just fine as well with a 20-24".
I have a 20" bobbed and that 18" I picked up will be soonYep. I have a 20" bar just for a 10
Why don't you have one yet?I would take the 394 with a low top, just because they look the best of any saw ever made to me. Power can be made up in many ways, depending on who ports them as to where you would see the gains, some prefer a torque feel in there saws and port them that way, other's will leave a little in a saw for durability over peak performance, find a builder who ports the way you like your saw to feel and you will be happier. Just my 2 cents.
Ported saws are silly......
Everyone knows that.
May be but my Freind you build a mean 395.Ported saws are silly......
