They feel more violent to me than a 395 but the 395 is smooth and that's deceptive


Yeah I'm just goofing around. We have a BG deleted 394 and stock 395 at work and I'm not sure I could discern between the two in a blind test...now comparing my personal 394 to either of those?? Totally different story

I would take the 394 with a low top, just because they look the best of any saw ever made to me. Power can be made up in many ways, depending on who ports them as to where you would see the gains, some prefer a torque feel in there saws and port them that way, other's will leave a little in a saw for durability over peak performance, find a builder who ports the way you like your saw to feel and you will be happier. Just my 2 cents.
