Yes I like them with 8 pin. I ran a 7 on mine too but it seems to hold it back

It's all about what you like. Seems like a 395 with a 7 pin never really shows its true potential. Hell I ran a 10 pin and 28" with no problems until it derailed.

I looked it over too, very good builder by the look of it. Like Joe I was simply after different stuff. Watched a couple 2100 videos this morning and it looks like a fun Saw to run. Cool sounding idle like a 288 but deeper. 2100 is now on my list

I agree. Hell, my stock 288 pulls an 8 pin with authority. Seems like an 8 pin would put a stock 394/5 right in the sweet spot.

I dunno about stock, mine didn't stay that way after I ran a tank thru it lol

I remember calling randy after I ran that tank thru it and asking him if he was sure he could make it faster. He said "well yeah" I was shocked it was possible
