What's with the new piston?
The other one had some wear on intake skirt and I felt the saw deserved it. Probably didn't make a huge difference other than piece of mind. It's fun taking it apart too. It's still running a rwj xtorq carb too. Love this saw it Fn cuts lol

Mike does nice work.

Did you happen to mic the piston to see if there were any differences?

He is a good dude. I did notice the meteor wrist pin was heavier. The pistons I couldn't tell difference in weight or looks id need scale. The circlips that came with it were the new one ear style and looked good to me. I didn't measure it as he said throw in a meteor or oem and it would be good. I'll have to check squish.

Wow that is a massive difference. I will check tommorow. Was that meteor compare to oem or oem vs oem?

Squish ended up being .020 on my cheep chinese caliper. It only does increments of .010 so it's definately safe squish.
