MS461R that Randy did a few years ago.

That’s a main lead on a red oak about 20’ from the stem. The homeowner had us remove it because it was dropping tips & was over the sheds.

It had defects, splits & was compromised.

Hi Amigos. Been busy through the storms here. And helped run a contractor tree service for a week. The road dept hired them. I had them drop some trees. It was a great week, they had a ton of equipment. One a dead tan oak 5 foot on the stump. A dead fir about 42in20211028_130231.jpg 20211028_130231.jpg 20211029_111617.jpg

Hello band. Been a busy couple weeks, mostly ranch wise with livestock. But heres my friend Dagan a good pine he dropped tonight. View attachment 319282
Nice tree. Don’t think I have ever seen one that size in Virginia. Looks like it is close to six foot across the trunk.
Thanks for sharing.

Good morning Amigos. 3120 even came out yesterday. My climber and I were outgunned
But we pulled it off. A big bay laurel removal, we refer to as pepperwood. And a big black oak.View attachment 319467

Good job, that is big heavy wood to handle. Hydraulic power is more than nice when handling wood/trees that size.

Thats How I roll

We often use a BobCat E85 for tree work, its a bit small for the biggest trees but its much easier to move it from place to place and being a 9 ton machine it will handle most stuff we cut. Just a stock pic of one as I can`t find a pic in my photos,
