Thanks buddy. Yes unfortunatley. Also 90s plus todayNice clean job there, Norm. Is it starting to dry up out there yet?
Great picture. I wonder why they couldn't?A local Ashplundh crew was working with our utility company clearing trees for new poles going in, got to this point ..... and then said they couldn't do it. View attachment 331442 So we were hired to finish it.
What Catman said. Definitely doable out of the bucket for the right person just not that guy lol. They don't train most of their guys to do any rigging because of the power lines they work around which puts them in over their head often on removals.G

Makes sense. Like many in the trade unfortunately. But better they recognized it vs attempt to finish I guess. Most often they don’t have that skill level.
NiceGot one in before the wind this morning.

NOw it's raining as we speak. LolI wish we could send you some of our moisture, rains here 2 - 3 times a week or snow /freezing rain. It`s been just a few degrees above freezing for most of this month, rivers running high. Trade you for some warm sun.
Nice work and saw Amigo. I've been In a few good ones lately. I'll post pictures. And speaking of mishaps, putting cows in the other night. Pulled a rough hill in my 96 f350. Somehow managed to puncture oil pan, while my 500i got ejected off flatbed, broke air filter cover. I just prayed to hold it together and for patience. From their I kicked my boots off and called it a day.A few highlights from today, I've spent the past few days tramping up and down hills slashing brush and these are the only interesting things I've cut. I've had a few screw-ups but since I'm still walking and talking they aren't worth describing. I got to dump a 24" oak stub and cut down a 26 or 27 inch hollow maple. How do I know it was 26-27"? 'Cause the 24 on my 562 was about 2-3 inches too short!

Broke in the new Stumpshot 572 yesterday. Love it. Was alternating between the 500i and 572. Taking down redwoods. My climber Joey, ground guy Gabe. Me, was able to fall 7 or 8. Few pulled by rope couple wedged.
Agreed. We have rigging galore, I figure it's cheap insurance. Especially these couple with some back lean.I always say its time well spent setting up a rope next to a structure, rather than being "that guy"!
