When my sprockets came in I rearranged the chassis design some.
It saw a bit of action but the software end of things had unfortunately stalled with no current eta...

Sensors, generic ones anyway, are dirt cheap. Hall effect sensors are like a buck or two, load cells maybe ten, Raspberry Pi microcomputer thirty.
Commercial software to run things, cheap not so much...
We "had a guy" in house here writing up stuff from scratch but unfortunately he sorta burned out on it before things got finalized. Was a long road...

Got started on it today and got the table pretty much done, the welds aren't pretty but it's stuck together. I checked the price of steel and it has doubled in price so I ended up using scrap metal.

I got the pump support done this afternoon and welded the clutch drum on, I thought about just letting the pump hang off the shaft but with my luck, the set screws would come lose and drop the pump on the floor. It will probable be Thursday before I can get back on it.

Is that one of those china 10 tooth sprockets? I'd wrap a new chain around it and see how it fits, the ones I got where all but useless. The OD was too small and it would hammer drive links bad!

Mine look the same as Ronie's and I'm running one on a Mac 125 right now and it seems to do ok.

I tune on the dyno. As the bar/chain/sprockets all add some load on the saw.
I just tune like I would if going to the wood pile. Make a few pulls and adjust from that.
Need to develop a running procedure for your setup that is easy to repeat from saw to saw and day to day.
