Ohio was a real eye opener for me Kev, I'm gunna try to make CT next year

Get rid of all your nice saws and buy the ugliest POS looking thing you can find. From what I saw, those are the ones that win. If they don't look like they've been handed down through generations of loggers, they won't win. Lol. There were some amazingly fast saws there.


No disrespect meant. I was truly amazed at how fast a 372, 390, and an 064 can be

That thing 4 strokes at 15k and runs 14k in the cant. My 394 was like "wtf?"

Now explain to me how that clapped out, old school, 365 of mine managed to win the 4 cube class...
There were 3 other saws there that I would bet a paycheck were cranking out more horsepower..

Racin is fun squeezing every last drop of power out of your saw. And then get beat by a work saw with a better chain. Soooo much time goes into each setup it's rediculous.

Jacks 365 was fast, too bad he missed the start. I shoulda just run him again

If I could chain that solo as good as you chained your 365, I might of had a chance

I here ya there, Talked to Scott for a few minutes at the end of the day
and tryin to absorb some info. He has a ton of time in his chains.

I agree something like this

I was there..
Ran a 9010 and a good 385 in it..

The 395 was king that day. No question..
The only Stihl that could hang was andy's 064 that Scott built.
But that was a couple years ago.
