Ok so I bought one of these kits, cleaned up some of the rough bumps around the transfers and intake and exhaust. I installed the piston and went to install the cylinder and none of the screws would thread in I scratched my head for a minute and decided to pull the gasket to find that the mounting holes don't line up. Pic attached. So at this point do I contact HL supply? As I've already done a small amount of grinding? Or do I bore out the mounting holes with the drill bit and mount the sucker?

Widen the holes.

They made the cylinder with both the 064 bolt pattern and 066 bolt pattern. You’ve got the opposite of what you need. I’d call Bruce and see what they will do
So I received the wrong kit by accident?

How long ago did you order it? I don't think they are still available.

Ok so I reached out to HLSupply I talked to one of the salesman who told me they are all the same jug for 064/066/660 which we obviously know the 064 pattern is a little different. I was supposed to get a call back from Bruce but have not received one so I decided to take pa Dan's advice and just bore out the bolt holes so I broke out the drill and went to work. Then I found that the CROSS emblem was pushing against the flywheel so I ground that down. Here are pics of the jug as I am about to mount it. I did my best to clean up some of the bumps and imperfections in the ports and opened the exhaust just a little more but still more room left to widen. I will get it mounted and put it in some hard maple this Saturday and try to get some video and a report back. Should run good! I have one on my 066 that I use for milling. I did some more work to the cylinder on mine. She runs strong!

The letters on my cylinder rubbed the flywheel too.

That exhaust floor looks flat. Make sure it has a good bevel on it.
