Have any of you guys gotten your Covid shots yet?
I got my first one (Pfizer) today.
I was told that I might have some discomfort at the injection site, tonight and tomorrow.
I've had plenty of injections in my life but never one like this. It feels like someone hit me in the shoulder with a baseball bat.
Anybody else have a similar reaction?

Pfizer here as well.

Nothing noticeable at all on the first.

I had minor shoulder ache off and on with the second. That afternoon a nasty leg cramp on the same side. That only lasted about 10 minutes. Foot cramps off and on but not too bad. I probably should have been drinking more water. I was pretty well back to whatever I call normal in 24 hours.

Reactions very greatly between people for no rhyme or reason and even between 1st and 2nd

I got mine back in December, got Shoulder and hip pain 2 days later, sporadic headaches and tiredness. All went away within a week
Felt a little spacey and vertigoee after the 2nd for a day.

No known issues since

My folks both mentioned no issues with the first, some arm soreness with the second. That was the Friday before last. They've been back to normal for over a week.

I've been trying to figure out where to find a vaccine based on the method of using either a killed or a weakened virus.
Seem like all you can get here, currently (in the U.S.) is either the MRNA type or that other one which is based on an altered Adenovirus.
https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/23204174/
I'm absolutely NOT engaging in the risky behavior that is mentioned in this report.
But this report tells me enough to know I don't want this type of vaccine.
My dangly bits weren't ritually mutilated as a baby, so I'm not interested in finding out (the hard way) what ELSE is a problem with uncircumcised males and Adenovirus based vaccines.
I had read a couple of things about the weakened/killed virus type vaccines in the US but all they were was just PR fluff with no helpful info as to when we might get them.

Already had both of my Moderna shots...little arm soreness with the first shot the following day, felt a little tired/burned out the following day after the second shot and that was it.

First dose of Moderna yesterday evening. Woke up at 2am and couldn't get back to sleep which isn't normal but I've also been super stressed at work. No other symptoms as of yet.

I had the Astra Zeneca (Oxford vaccine) about 10 days ago.

I had Sore arm and found I couldn’t lift much with it for about 2 days. I got some cold fingers in both hands but not all fingers for about 1/2hr which happened about 6hrs after the jab, that was wierd.. but not sure it was related to the jab or not.

My 86 yr old Pops got both of his Pfizer shots about 2 months ago. No issues.
My wife got part 1 about 3 weeks ago, going back for #2 in a few days. No issues.

I got the "1 and Done Johnson & Johnson" version about 2 weeks ago.
Felt a weird/goofy buzz kinda like a old school Columbian Gold high for about 2 minutes!:sifone::loko2:
Arm sore for about 2 days.
After that...nothing.
