Covid shot

My Moderna booster shot appt is this Friday, 10:50am at the hospital here on base. We get four hours off paid after the shot, any of the Covid shots for that matter, so my Friday will be a half day thing.

I was at the doctor getting a flu shot yesterday, it was at the end of the day and they asked if I wanted mine because there was extras so I got that too. This time it was the moderna shot, I have more side effects from this one than the first two.

I think the Moderna is stronger. My arm was sore from the first shot....and I felt lethargic after the second for a couple of days.

Pfizer boostered over a month ago, no issues. Moderna booster wasn’t out yet

I got both Moderna shots, actually caught covid in the time between them. Covid itself was like a nasty flu for me, but recovery from the second shot was awful. It was like the entire 3-4 day experience of the disease was compressed into a 12 hour timeframe. Still worked my normal shift because I hate being sick at home.

Yep!
Edna Sue got her Phizer about on Oct 19...felt a little sluggish & a mild headache for a sec...gone after a few days.
I got my Johnson & Johnson...slight buzz for about 5 minutes...nothing else.
Felt a tad friskier later on... that's all I can report fellas!

Glenda and I are both eligible to get it now. I'm going asap.

My wife and I are too, we just need to take the time to do it. We both had Pfizer and will get the same booster. I'm hesitant about mixing brands.

I was going to get my Moderna booster yesterday. Big stop sign and message on door saying if you have cold &etc. call first. I ended up getting a molecular Covid test which showed negative for Covid. Then found out I couldn't get the Booster because I got my flu shot a week ago. You can Booster and flu together, or wait 2-4 weeks between. Oh well, I found I don't have Covid even though I feel virusy. BTW, no problems when I took the two Moderna shots.

Glenda and I just got home from getting our boosters.

Got my Pfizer booster and flu shot on Oct 21st. No reaction at all from any any of these but sore on injection site that was the same for both arms. Tried to get shingles shot at same time but they said two shots were enough for one day.
