Yes. If the port is wider than the bottom of the skirt, it could drop in. It wouldn't have any support

This bottom piont (scribe is pointing at) is exacrly in line with edge of port.

Most of the time enlarging the top of the venturi,but you gotta make sure the metering jet is letting in enough fuel,sometimes you gotta do a little drilling

Oh it is a echo. Make it breath and let it breath or a good mm and timing advance will wake it up
Iv already did a mm and that helped it a lot. Might shave a little off fly wheel key now too.
I dont think ther is much i can do for porting it. Kind of a bummer but i learned something new to look for.
