I've read in most cases match the intake port to the exhaust port.

I like clams, for some reason they like lube and moisture lol. I did a echo 510 and 46cc poulan pro that turned out good. They are definitely tougher to work with but of you have it and like it then it's worth a shotHey now. This is about clams.

More pics looking down the jug?Heres the clam split. I was wondering what echo uses for gasket glue. This is how it looked when i pulled apart. Dont look like much if any.

Next question. Iv never messed with intake. How do you determine how wide you can go. Or do you just leasve it and clean the port up.

My 510 has stock untouched card except for caps taken off and also piped and does alright the guys at the mn gtg thought it was in the 60cc range and it's a 49cc sawFood for thought, Is the carburetor gonna be able to feed the beast your creating.

Check ring ends and skirt width.
From pencil mark to edge is 0.100.
I got to double check but i think min is 0.050.
If so i should be ok.
Now ring ends are both on intake side.
How do you determine if ring pins are too close to ports.
And if it matters at BDC the rings do not show at top of intake.

Ur ring should never se the intake port
The spot where scribe is pointing. Is that what you mean may caise a hamg up.
