It doesn't look like much but the mains are 124.67 and the tip of the secondaries are at 128 with a 2 degree taper. Keeping the up angle and the taper really tested my patience.
I use to kill saws by hogging out the transfers,I thought i was killing velocity but I wasn't, I don't think there's enough velocity in a saw to worry about, I was killing them by fn up the roof and entry angles.

Like a 394 for instance, after mw they need raised sometimes as much as 17 degrees and to raise all of the transfer and keep the roof angle takes forever.
I've worked 3+ hours just on the transfers.
Same with the exhaust, take a straight edge and lay it on the roof and make sure you raise it from the mouth to the exit.
Lot of saws you will run out of material.

Ok so this may or may not be a useful tip but will give you a different perspective on your transfer ducts. I use an inspection mirror it eliminates the parallax error as opposed to looking through the base

I also like to use paint markers for layout because I can create a finer line. I put the paint in. Let it dry, put the ring in to scribe the line. Or a straight edge if it's a vertical line. I use a knife most of the time for a scribe.

Are these the stock transfers David? They don't look touched. I thought you ported it already?

Also, thank you for sharing your tips! These little things can make it much easier for us amateurs!!

ported,

I used a diamond bit on the secondaries for texture and smoothing.

I hope you can see the difference. I am going to work the ducts, ex and intake yet. But the hard part is done.
