Yes Joe. I was very happy for the extra meat on that abomination. Plus we all know the Red97 deflector adds whoopass.

I love the 262 but I loathe the muff mod.

If anyone has a trick for getting the lower restriction out, please advise.

Next time I'm gonna cut the defector with a tin smiths, fold it back and grind the shít out of the restriction. Then fold back and weld.

I just reach in with the foredom and grind it out. Takes a while, but I don't have a welder to do that...

That's how I would have done it...saves structural integrity, retains option for a spark arrestor, looks stock when finished.

These days looking stock is important to me. Most of the saws I do are for commercial use.

I'm not sure how I ended up here, but it makes every failure that much more painful. Ain't nothing worse that a guy needing his saw and having it fail because I turned the wick up too high.

Runs nice Al.
Not bad for a Husqvarna. Lol
The Stihl's are on another level higher. ;)

On reliability, overall design, ergonomics and durability-yes they are.

Husky's are simply faster by design. It's just how it is.

Lol. One needs too many tools for a single saw. Stihl for me.
